I've been using Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) for years and have finally dumped it due to its forcing their search engine and start page on users of the free version.
So I am now trying to use just the Firefox browser, version 55, to download files and can't get it to download anything.
It's got to be something simple but I can't find the reason.
I would appreciate some assistance.
Thanks!
Harvey

Re: Cannot download anything
please read here - removing the extension wont help, you need to uninstall DAP complete and delete that NPAPI file:

NPAPI support in firefox as removed with firefox 53, 52esr still supports other plugins (except flash) until end.
