From yesterday's thread:
Latest m-c win32 hourly tinderbox build cset: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ ... fd549c82c7 will not start up...

Places Icon on taskbar - but won't open any further than that. No crashes that I see.
Just restarted the PC, removed the previous cset and tried the one above again... Nightly still will not start up. I think the build is busted as treeherder had an issue with downloads during build and tree was closed for awhile. Will see what happens tomorrow. Another build is spinning now but I have to get to bed for the evening.

You shouldn't use those. No telling what changes they made.

I recommend and use the Official Mozilla Nightly builds.

they need the Flatpaks Tested for when Flatpak becomes default in Fedora Linux , Flatpaks are built by Mozilla. Redhat bought the infrastructure so some at Mozilla could Make these Flatpaks , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatpak http://flatpak.org/apps.html http://flatpak.org/#features

Home PC just updated to 57. Well, it IS faster. I will miss my handful of extensions until they are brought over:

Context Search
Make Link
NoScript
Session Manager
Sort Tabs

I don't like snaps (and presumably flatpaks) because they don't (yet) use the user's settings. Instead they use the system-wide settings. For example, your gtk3 theme and cursor theme won't be honored.

OK, how do I stop a page from loading? There used to be an X there where you do this. There are two new things up there, but neither of them have the X under them.

Sometimes, a slow loading page needs to be stopped, while you pop over to another tab which you want to work on instead.

This is the only extension in the universe that I really use and need (well, except for uBlock Origin, maybe). And the API required to port this extension isn't even implemented yet!: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1352598

The "X" should still be there, just next to back/forward now.

Doesn't pressing Esc stop a page from loading?

OK, just downloaded the latest 2 m-c win32 tinderbox builds and neither will start properly, only displays Icon on Taskbar.
Last working build for me cset 20170927173830 756e10aa8bbd416cbc49b7739f78fb81d5525477

EDIT: Problem is 'Light Theme' is broken... switched back to 'Default' (which is horrid on my eyes) and its OK. Will file later if no one beats me to it...
Have to get ready for work.
