Crash taking down whole browser...

Visit: wishtv.com
Read any story
Click 'back' to return to main page

Total crash... crash-reports are useless for the moment as I'm running hourly builds and they have no symbols

EDIT: No crash is new Profile *sigh*

This is the only extension in the universe that I really use and need (well, except for uBlock Origin, maybe). And the API required to port this extension isn't even implemented yet!: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1352598
Haven't tested it yet, but
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... al-search/
looks like a promising webextension alternative.

I've been using it for a while. Nice.

Bug 1366405 is good, fixed a lot of issues, but obviously there was a lot of hacks to make things work without it, so now it needs to be sorted out.

With defaulr theme there is no problem (AFAIK), so I wouldn't say that :) Bug 1366405 fixed a lot of visual issues which were present in browser ever since Win 10.

Total crash... crash-reports are useless for the moment as I'm running hourly builds and they have no symbols

EDIT: No crash is new Profile *sigh*
Crash here too. Also on inbound.
Also crashes on Nightly with my usual WebExtensions extensions installed.

Didn't happen in Nightly with new profile, but the Cylon never stopped staring at me (i.e., the "loading" indicator never stopped).

But as soon as I added uBlock Origin, I can reproduce the problem reliably.

Created a new profile, added the Beta (WebExtensions) AdBlock Plus. Now just clicking on a story crashes the browser.

I repeated the tests with Beta, no crashes, not on new profile, not on new profile + uBlock Origin, not on new profile + AdBlock Plus. (Why do I pick extensions with two-word names?)

Since the crashes happened with Nightly from the internal updater, it should have the symbol table, shouldn't it?

This seems to be crash report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1403932 so I am going to add to this (new) crash report.
