Neeed backup of Tbird
I have what is good recommended in this forum & downloaded to my traditional Dropbox folder but I can't get the version 52.3.0 (32-bit) to open the file from that location. I need this ASAP because an internet problem with the Wycliffe Bible Translators/SIL email address ruined every other email account as well plus the outdated Firefox/Thunderbird backup.
Win 10 Pro desktop, but now 64-bit latest Windows 10. Usually latest or latest-1 Thunderbird on this machines.

If what you are asking for is the location from which to download Thunderbird version 52.3.0 directly to your PC, here's the URL from which you can get it -- https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunder ... n32/en-US/
If what you are asking about is accessing your back files from Dropbox, please post back to confirm that.
If you are asking about HOW to backup Thunderbird, see this article -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup
Note that MozBackup has been problematic lately and only the most recent beta version seems to be working for folks.

Just copying the entire profile structure to removable media or to another directory on the hard drive is usually effective as a way to back up your data.
There's also the backup function of the ImportExportTools extension.
