Ccleaner

Hi, I hope you can help me. Ever since I update FF to 56.0 and to 56.0.1, every time I run Ccleaner, and when I open FF I am getting a page that says. "Well, this is embarrassing.
Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page." Why am I getting it now? I never got it before when I ran Ccleaner, how can i fix it?

When will people realise it is a very bad idea to let ccleaner anywhere near Firefox? Simple fix? don't run ccleaner on Firefox

Because it has a bad habit of destroying profiles. Plus Firefox is capable of doing its own maintenance

It never has did that to mine and I don't like how FF dose their own maintenance.

I have fixed my problem.

At the very least uncheck the session option in relation to Firefox in Ccleaner.

I did uncheck the session option in relation to Firefox in Ccleaner. And that fixed the problem. Thank you for your help.

How does FF do its own maintenance?

not trustworthy as it seems. because lack of knowledge. ccleaner is more trustworthy, it shows more crap than firefox really contains, in special cookies and cache - and the very latest impact also includes trojan behavior ^^ ccleaner is best ^^

Expiration of cache & cookies, "vacuuming" of .sqlite database files, updating of blocklists & "safe browsing" lists, backups of some data (like sessions).
Stuff like that.


(Better question is why one would expect a third party application to know better what to do, how to do, then the original application itself?)
