What version of Thunderbird are you running now? Find that under Help->About Thunderbird?

Fx 52 is up to date if using Fx 52.4.1esr. This is the problem with UA not showing the minor version ever since Fx 16.0.2 Release.

I am using 56.0B3 and without having anything updated, it still tells me I am up to date. So I am confused....

Version 56.0B3 means you are not using a release version of the program, the most recent of which is 52.4.0 and you can get that here -- https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/

You are using the latest Thunderbird Beta.

There is work being done on a 56.0b4, but it isn't ready for prime time yet.
