noscript access blocked?

Post by mozurkewich »

I use NoScript to block scripts unless I let them run. It looks like my last Firefox upgrade has blocked my access to NoScript, so I can not enable scripts. It looks like it is still running. How can I get access to Noscript controls?

FireFox 56 on a Mac.

There used to be a bar on the bottom of the screen showing what Noscript was doing, and an on the upper right.

Addition: I have NoScript 5.1.2, up-to-date, I think. It might have been the NoScript update, which I was unaware of, that caused the problem.

get the previous version, 5.1.2 is known for issues.

Don't I have to disable updates before I do that? I don't see how to disable updates in NoScript.

Yes, it is a workaround. So is going back to an old version and disabling updates. Barbaz's method is easier and will be fixed by a future update. Much better.
