Can Dashboard 0.3 be added to the list of icons to use? They were the most realistic ones and pretty cool.

in the original they are not of suitable size - the proportion of the width is much larger than the height.
I can add these pictures after converting the sizes for the new Forecastfox, but the images can be very small

you can try similar icons: "Weather7 by Mohitg v.1" and "Weather7 by Mohitg v.2"

I have to select again the settings after it updates itself (location, position, unit measurements etc). What can I do? I don't delete cookies after closing Mozilla.
And can't it be added aside from the menu upper bar on the right side?

What i liked about dasboard 0.3 was that they had darker backgrounds so you could easily see the icons. With the new horizontal bar, the background is white so on white pages, the icons are harder to see.

it seems to me that they are the same...
Do not pay attention to the color of the background - gray color is only for preview, in reality it is transparent

Custom radar/satellite image URI ignored. Forecastfox will only show a single 400x300 image (actually 400x334), although it gets stretched to about 640x534 size.

I want to view a custom 640x480 radar image such as:

http://sirocco.accuweather.com/sat_mosa ... isarNE.gif
or
http://sirocco.accuweather.com/sat_mosa ... isarNH.gif

But it always and silently gets replaced with:

http://sirocco.accuweather.com/nx_mosai ... sirCT_.gif

Rationale: Combined radar and satellite shows both clouds and precipitation, which is a much better indicator of coming weather pattern than either one alone. Better resolution, better map appearance, flexibility to choose different view of area. In different seasons, the bad weather tends to come from different directions, so I will switch maps. Sometimes bad weather may come from multiple directions, so I switch map to zoom out. None of this is currently possible, but used to be in the XUL/Overlay version, and technically should be possible here as 1) You're already fetching an image from a URI and 2) You're already displaying image at 640 width. :D

New version has deleterious affect on Firefox 52ESR 64 bit on Linux (OpenSuse 42.2).
When active pages load and render slowly. beta.speedtest.net give 70ms ping, 70Mb down, up failed to complete.
When turned off pages load and render as expected, beta.speedtest.net gives 11ms ping, 220 Mb down, 20 Mb up.

The settings screen jumps around while using and like other pages is very unresponsive.

Just installed v4.9 in Firefox ESR v52.4.0 (64-bit) on Windows 7.
On hover, the Now and 5 day images flicker all the time and the 'Click to collapse' does not work.
I have reverted to v4.8.
