I've been using foxproxy for a while now and usually switch on and off proxies manually.
It's fine for this I've just been experimenting with i2p today and set foxproxy to use proxies based on predefined pattens.
I then added a couple of rules for i2p sites, ex: '*.i2p' and '*.i2p/*' which were whitelisted, but I cannot get it to work. It flashes up the 'default' proxy and the sites never load.
Does anyone have any experience with doing this kind of thing? I did try some other proxy extensions, but only one supported IP/URL based proxying, and that one seemed broken, because clicking the various buttons to add rules did nothing.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Re: Would like opinions on auto-proxy extensions
Well it seems that patterns work in foxproxy when added via the alt-F2 dialog.
