can I sync thunderbird lightning with outlook.com ?

i guess thunderbird lightning is almost part of thunderbird

may i ask you if i can sync thunderbird lightning with outlook .com web email?

i have tried to sync with google and it works


i use thunderbird 52.4.0 and lightning 5.4.4

Syncing email just requires a IMAP account. Outlook.com supports that. Syncing remote calendars is a different story. In many cases you just need a add-on such as Cardbook to add CalDAV support. However, it seems its not that simple for outlook.com.

I just stumbled across TBSync - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... pandcoming which says:. "Synchronize Exchange ActiveSync accounts to Thunderbird Addressbook and Calendar, also supports outlook.com accounts." One of the comments says "The downside (and the reason I am only giving three stars) is that it cannot yet sync recurring dates"

i tried to sync with outlook.com but task doesn't work ,only calendar
syncing tasks gives me errrors
have you used? have you tried to sync with outlook.com web email?

I use ReminderFox, not Lightning, and don't bother with a remote calendar.
