Intermittent Mail Problem

Sometimes I cannot log into Thunderbird. Get message: mail.popsever.nc.com responded: [IN USE] account is locked by another session or for maintenance, try again.

BUT PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT, SOMETIMES IT WORKS.

Are you accessing that account through more than one device, perhaps through a computer and also a smartphone or tablet?
Do you have the account open in a browser when trying to access it though Thunderbird?

No, just thru Thunderbird or thru Webmail (which always works), but not at the same time.
