I just created a new Thunderbird profile for testing purpose. I want to copy my two AOL email accounts (IMAP) to the new profile. The following folder looked like it would do the trick, so I copied it over to the new profile:
C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\ImapMail
ImapMail contains the following folders and files:
imap.aol.com.msf (file)
imap.aol-1.com.msf (file)
imap.aol.com (folder)
imap.aol-1.com (folder)
However, that didn't set up the email accounts. So which file or folder contains the accounts & settings?
which file or folder contains email accounts & settings?

Re: which file or folder contains email accounts & settings?
Thanks Dan. Full profile migration is of no interest in this case. Neither of the two forum threads you linked answer my specific question: which file contains the email account settings. Digging into the 2nd kb link, I found exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

You may need to manually edit the paths in prefs.js to reflect the new profile location.
