open a link in a new tab

hi,

On Firefox 57, is there a way to open a link in a new tab (about:config or css) instead of middle-clic ?

(a grand'ma in my neighbourhood doesn't have energy enough in her fingers, but she likes browsing and FF 57 is coming soon )

In about:config set the following to true to make them open in new tabs:

browser.search.openintab
browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs

(/me dont using the search-bar - futile for me as long i can use the unified address-bar to find with google or other search providers or my own keyword powered bookmarks. in most cases i use a "context search")
