Launch SeaMonkey without loading tabs?

Post by mozillaine »

When i launch SeaMonkey 2.48 (Mac) and internet is connected, it loads all tabs. I would like to load only current tab or no tabs at all. Is this possible?

In SeaMonkey use menu path Edit->Preferences->Appearance->Browser->Display on Browser Startup->Pick something besides "Restore Previous Session"

OK, then you've confused me. You said " it loads all tabs. I would like to load only current tab." Which is the "current tab"? How is that different from loading the last session?

If i now launch it when internet is working, it reloads all open tabs.

I want it to just launch and open all previous session tabs but not reload (fetch web pages from net) any tabs or reload only current tab.

Edit | Preferences -> Browser ---> Only restore tabs when I need them

(That's been the default for FF for some time now. IMO, SeaMonkey should default to it too.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

It's confusingly written, to the point of not making any sense. It should read - 'Only reload restored tabs when I need them'
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke (attrib.)
