More Problems with Firefox 56 and Extensions

Post by Wiggam72 »

All of a sudden today, even more of my add-ons stopped working. The problem is, v57 isn't out yet and they were working after v56 until now. Why wouldn't they stop working like some of my other add-ons as soon as FF updated?

My number 1 extension is Stylish. I use a dark theme to prevent all of that white light from destroying my eyes. It took me several years to figure out it was the cause of me getting double vision and diminished eyesight. After a few days of using Stylish with their dark theme, my sight began to return to normal. Cellphones screw up your eyesight as well for the same reason.

So today, Stylish no longer worked properly. Then I made the huge mistake of uninstalling it to use the replacement Stylus after a notification I saw. Now I cannot install any themes for it. I reinstalled Stylish but no luck. So now, neither one of them works at all and I'm staring at this blasted white light piercing my eyes.

What can I do to remedy this problem?

P.S. Also, No Squint's magnification symbols no longer show on the toolbar.

You could try to reinstall Stylish again, as it updated only a few hours ago (might have been the reason why you couldn't get it to work earlier)

In addition (just some information) see this thread :

FYI - FF57 has site specific magnification, both whole page or text only.

.
