Got it! I assumed that was the case, but you never know. At least you have a work-around.

I did a little hunting to find the source of my information, since I didn't remember where I got it from.

I found a bookmark for a very thorough article by Martin Brinkmann at ghacks.net. Martin mentions several related parameters. So if the original parameter change I mentioned does not work for you, read Martin's article and see if it will help.

Caveat: The article is about two-years old and I did not check to see whether all of those parameters still exist in current versions of Firefox.
