@grizzler
First of all, I would like to know if the developer plans this or not.

I do not remember where his post is in the thread, but he said regardless of his desire to update the extension, the needed APIs do not currently exist in the browser to enable him to do so.

He's in luck.WildcatRay wrote:I do not remember where his post is in the thread, but he said regardless of his desire to update the extension, the needed APIs do not currently exist in the browser to enable him to do so.
Maybe he can get in on this, and get this stuff going.... agenda for the November 14 WebExtensions
APIs triage meeting. Would you be able to join us?
Here’s a quick overview of what to expect at the triage:
* We normally spend 5 minutes per bug
* The more information in the bug, the better
* The goal of the triage is to give a general thumbs up or thumbs down on a
proposal; we won't be going deep into implementation details

Is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix or troubleshooting process to go through? thanksradar52 wrote:Hi, I just upgraded my FF to v56.0 and now the Session Manager icon does NOT show in my toolbar. I've checked in Add-ons, and SM is active and there is no SM icon in the toolbar "Customize" tab. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
Thanks

You can import a session using the extension "MySessions" https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/a ... -sessions/RobAGD wrote:I really hope a updated version gets made, I wanted to test something else and completely forgot that SM wasn't compatible with the new FF Doh
Is the session manager file able to be open to pull url's out?
Thanks

Yes, same problem. Firefox Quantum 57.0 not compatible with Session Manager.radar52 wrote:Is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix or troubleshooting process to go through? thanksradar52 wrote:Hi, I just upgraded my FF to v56.0 and now the Session Manager icon does NOT show in my toolbar. 1.) Can I revert back to Firefox 56.0 safely?
2.) How can I continue working with my Session Manager-saved tab sets?
3.) Will Session Manager be updated to work with Firefox Quantum 57.0 and beyond?
Tks.

Hi!
My Firefox just got upgraded to Quantum and Session Manager doesn't work anymore. Which sucks a lot. But what sucks even more is that I don't know if I am now able to backup those sessions to use them with another browser. Are they saved somewhere locally? I didn't know Firefox was getting this big update and I would be so angry if I just lost all my saved sessions.
Thanks!

Just revert to FF56 and your sessions will be there.BowieMan5 wrote:Hi!

Really? Oh cool! Stupid question... How do I do that? And I am sorry, because the new Firefox is really fast, but until Session Manager doesn't work with it, it's a no from me.

Firefox has multiple warnings about reverting to a prior rev level, citing security holes, etc..Just revert to FF56 and your sessions will be there.

Thanks guys ! (yes, I am assuming your gender:))
Found the sessions! Thanks! But I still want to revert to the older version. Or do you have any suggestions for a good browser that supports Session Manager, so I can import the sessions and still use the new Firefox when I want ?

Oh, I thought there is just a revert kind of thing. I don't know why. I guess I'll have to do it the good ol' way:) Again, too bad, cause the new Firefox is pretty snappy.
Thanks again!
