I heard the version 57 (Quantum) is out so I did an upgrade right away to check it out. The update process went smoothly and I had it up and running in no time. The claims for speed was more than accurate. It was a real blast to browse with FF 57. It didn't take me much long though (3 full minutes) having to revert back to version 56.0.2 as 70% of my extensions were incompatible with Quantum. Frankly without those extensions Firefox becomes useless to me. I currently run Vivaldi and Firefox simultaneously with Firefox used for 80% of my browsing as it is my preferred browser by far.
I'll wait till I am sure I am able to use my current extensions with Quantum before I migrate to version 57.
Firefox rocks either way. Thanks for all your efforts developing such a great browser.
FF 57 seems great yet sticking with 56 for now

This is not my first rodeo with Firefox updates. The extension developers usually come up with their own workable updates within a short period of time. I let things settle for a while. No need to upgrade the second an update is available, specially when there are some major structural changes with the program.
No worries either way, I'll have fun using Firefox whichever version I opt to use.

Once no-script is fully on FF57 I will upgrade. In the meantime I will wait a little while.
