You're entitled to your opinion but there are likely others who use these extensions and would object to someone characterizing them in that way and, by extension, their authors. It wasn't necessary to use those terms. He could have said "I find that extension to be problematic" or "I have seen complaints that it causes problems" or any of a dozen other statement that would steer folks away without going over the top like that.

I find that the NoScript extension to be problematic and I have seen complaints that it causes problems.

sorry, barbaz, but my regrets are limited - you view is unique and for general usage absolute wrong. ublock is superior to all and not only privacy. but you are not alone - there is too much nonsense about ublock on the run - people trust more in "adblock for youtube" or " i dont care about cookies" extensions. time to get rid of this crap. if you feel treated, sorry, not my purpose.
