how to load tabs automatically when opened from bookmarks?

Post by Vyy »

hi

i am using windows 10 and firefox version 56.0b9 (64-bit)
i havent updated yet because as i did i had to revert back to an older version because the addon tabmix plus wasnt supported, so i think i rather wait until it is.

now my problem is this:
when i open firefox, my last session is getting loaded as it should be.
however, the tabs do not load. they just stay there in the tab list and only got loaded when i clock on them.
the same happens when i open a whole bookmarks folder which contains any number of tabs. the tabs are getting opened, but they only start to load when i manually click on them. i guess this is a feature to reduce stress and resources.
however, i want the tabs being loaded per default when i open my last session (or a bookmark folder).
how can i do this?

thank you in advance!

See if toggling the Pref, browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand, to 'false' does it?
(Guess you ought to test in a test Profile, opening a Profile separate from your 56.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.
