I'm seeing a big increase in CPU utilization and also memory.

It's not every web page that drives my system to 96% CPU usage and consumes 4GB just for that one tab. And it consumed that memory quite quickly, too!

This also occurred when I visited the page with Firefox 57.0.1, so the spike in CPU and memory usage isn't specific to just Nightly. (I have uBlock Origin in both Nightly and Release.)

When I tried a new profile without any extensions, Nightly appeared far better behaved, complete with a bogus page reporting that I need to upgrade Flash. (That's why I seldom browse the web without an ad blocker.) But CPU usage was more restrained and memory didn't climb beyond a small increment.

It's working fine for me on todays nightly.

Wonder what's causing it.

Same though I have quite a lot of adblock filters on.
EDIT: Still not seeing it with ublock disabled.

@ Omega X & SLK350 - I can confirm this issue (but not reliably) and I reported it here Bug 1422274 - Images and text go missing and disappears in Mozilla Firefox Nightly 59.0a1 (2017-11-30)

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.
