Hi guys can someone confirm the corrupted rendering of http://airsofia.info/

I have gfx.webrender.enabled;true , gfx.webrender.blob-images;true , image.mem.shared;true

The whole page and the UI chrome buttons starts to flicker in red after 15 minutes usage.I have also seen that particular behavior with YouTube

The flickering and red flashing stuff is par for the course with WR enabled. Happens on some other sites as well. Until they fix this WR is not my daily driver.

It won't make it for 59. In 59 only performance testing will conclude (hopefully).

Weird. I can already do that without WR. Maybe it'll be faster.

It looks as though tab warming is back in the spotlight again. Nice!
Cheers!

For me it's much smoother than without WR. In Chrome half of the patches aren't rendered when switching that fast.

Finally, that was one annoying bug for Mike Conley, I think :D

So I won't need the Dormancy extension?

I don't believe that it's the same thing, no. Tabs that are restored and unused aren't loaded until they are needed (except for pinned tabs). The bug above will make switching tabs quicker as it will fire off some of the tasks needed to show a tab before the tab is loaded. It does this by firing off pre-load events and whatnot for tabs that are hovered over. That's a simplified version of what it does - it's pretty neat actually.
Cheers!

They fixed that delay I was having after exiting Fx and then restarting. I tested it out on inbound.

Black flickering seems to be all around gone for me this morning :) The only URL bar issue that remains is sometimes things look "stretched" when the bar drops down. It's quite brief. Fingers crossed for the return of the dark URL bar with dark theme.

If anyone who has Tampermonkey installed can try reproduce this insta-browser crash bug ? 10 tries, 10 insta-crashes.

STR:
- Have Tampermonkey extension enabled, doesn't matter if there are scripts enabled or not.
- Open link below results in a instant browser crash repetitively.

Code: Select all
