Folder Names
Just came across an interesting problem. We have several training computers with Mozilla Thunderbird installed. On all but one of them, the "deleted" items folder is labelled "Trash", on one of them it is labelled "deleted". Any ideas as to why this is?

Re: Folder Names
Are all of those training computers accessing the same email account or different accounts? If the same, how is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

Re: Folder Names
Another possibility is that some of the Thunderbird installations used different locales. I think British and USA locales use different default names for the Trash folder in a POP account.

Re: Folder Names
I can confirm this, the US version uses "Trash, the UK version uses "Deleted".

Re: Folder Names
tanstaafl raises another good question: Are all of those Thunderbird installations using the same version of Thunderbird and the same localization version, e.g. all US or all UK, etc?Another possibility is that some of the Thunderbird installations used different locales.
