Probably someone will come along and write a WE for the old add-ons.

Thank you, yes, there is such a file but it is not the exported one, it keeps unchanged when closing / opening Firefox...ah, no, suddenly it works, the html file is updated.

Here are the download links:

But they do not seem to work for this Firefox: https://i.imgur.com/nKNTdCp.png

They obviously are installed, but the item is not shown in the context menu in the bookmarks window:

In your above images (that last one) you are right-clicking on the page to get that list... but you need to right-click on the Header bar (the same one that displays 'Name" ) ... and a list of what items you want is in a dropdown list... in my system when I do that Parent Folder is in the list and I have it checked.
As you can see she's (The CAT) always alert and on the prowl for Meoware !!

Ah yes, now I see, that is the difference betwenn those two extensions, the way I described works with "Go to parent folder" (or whatever its name is) - I used to use this one (that one does not seem to work anymore, although it is still installed) - and the other just displays a new column (independently of the items / bookmarks) that shows the parent folders. With the last one you cannot open a parent folder.

The screenshot of your installed add-ons suggests that "Go Parent Folder" is not installed. I downloaded it from the zippyshare link you cited. Works for me. The orange "DOWNLOAD NOW" button is the real one.

Yes, I do not have any idea why it is like that. It was installed before, but with the / an update the extension disappeared obviously.

A possible workaround is to switch to "Work Offline" mode temporarily and open the bookmark in a tab.
Click the highlighted star on the address bar and expand the full folder list to see where this bookmark is located.

Thank you.

Why go offline? It seems to work being online.
Click the highlighted star on the address bar and expand the full folder
Do you mean like that (expanding anything else does not seem to have any advantage):

But that way I do not come to the bookmark, cannot open its folder, if I see it right.
