No-login login

Post by Odin2 »

I feel I should know this answer, but I don't. How is it that I can log in to MozillaZine [as perhaps with some other sites] by simply clicking inside the username field? Once I do that, both username and password are filled in for me. That being the case, what's the purpose of requiring those credentials at all?

At some point you allowed Firefox to remember your username and password for this forum. When you go to enter the username, it gets filled in for you for your convenience.

Either remove the saved username and password from Options -> Privacy and Security, or set a master password.
