Filters not working properly

I have a couple filters set up to delete messages from certain addresses that don't meet certain requirements. They're all the same with only the "from is" field different. Here's an example filter:

Code: Select all

Match all of the following:
From is newsletter@email.gog.com
Body doesn't contain win
Body doesn't contain won
Body doesn't contain free
Body doesn't contain giveaway

Perform these actions:
Move message to trash
The problem is, messages from almost every other address get moved to the trash as well. Messages that actually should get deleted because of the filter aren't always deleted either. What do you think could be causing this? Thanks.

Enable the optional filter log. That might help you discover why the From: test is succeeding when it shouldn't.

One possibility is that your folder is corrupt, so that its actually testing parts of other messages. Try moving most of the messages in that inbox to other folders, and compact the folder.
