CLEAR CACHE

Post by wwe »

This might have been covered before here bit I can't find any answer!

Is it a good idea to CLEAR the CACHE regularly? In general what does it mean to do so and why should anyone do it? Does it help speed things up?

Thanks.

I let the browser handle its cache.
If you delete cache, then the browser has to go out to the web & reload data rather then being able to load it locally (from cache).

Sometimes, things can get "gummed up", you're expecting one thing but seeing another.
Possible the cache is affecting you, reading old from cache rather then new from the web.
In an instance like that, clearing cache will force the read from the web, helping in that respect.
Fire 750, bring back 250.
