Firefox running in background
Last night had some updates of windows 10 ever since then firefox only runs in the background, can't use the browser as nothing appears on my screen but the task manager say's it's running in the background. This may not be a firefox issue but it's the only programme affected at the moment. any help or pointing in the right direction would be helpful.

Re: Firefox running in background
Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode (after making sure that any invisible processes have been ended)? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

Re: Firefox running in background
(You'll have to kill any background firefox.exe processes before you'll get much further.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Firefox running in background
This is the answer. At least to get Firefox to open again. End the task in Task Manager, and Firefox should open right up. I've had it hang here and there too, and I either had to wait it out, or just end the task, to start it again.therube wrote:(You'll have to kill any background firefox.exe processes before you'll get much further.)
Do, or do not. There is no try.
