Lost Theme Font & Size Changer
I have been using Theme Font & Size Changer. Periodically, I have to "re-install it" since it seems to have a expiration date.
However, now it seems that it is only available as a extension for "SeaMonkey Thunderbird" whatever that is supposed to mean.
If I install it, it is shown on Addons Manager, but is not working.
I Really need this to make the Text large enough to read on my 1080x1920 Display.
Is there any other way to increase text size on the SM program display? (Web Page Display is not affected.)
Any help would be much appreciated.

similar here - kinda lost without it - I'd certainly be happy to just reinstall an older version, but can't find any

Tried that and newest version does install but Text is ultra small regardless of settings. Could you recommend settings?

Re: Lost Theme Font & Size Changer
I went to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... /versions/ and selected version 55.0
and installed it in SeaMonkey. It didn't work of course because of the date problem.
Next, I copied the .xpi file from the SM Profile, Extensions sub-folder.
I pasted the .xpi file into a temp, working folder. Then, I went into SM Tools, add ons manager and removed the extension, and closed SM.
In the working folder, I changed the .xpi file extension to .zip and extracted all to a sub-folder. In the sub-folder,
I changed the bootstrap.js extension to .txt and edited the file as described in:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... s/1025242/
Then, I saved the (edited) bootstrap.txt extension back to .js
Then, I selected all the files, as a group and Zipped them using send-to.
Then, I changed the resulting file extension to .xpi
I clicked on the .xpi file and selected SM to open it.
The (Modified) extension installed and IS WORKING!

Thanks. Actually, I learned a lot by doing the work myself. with the help of the earlier postings on this thread. And I did remember to select to not check for updates for the revised extension in addons manager.WaltS48 wrote:Somebody has already done the work for you.

Re: Lost Theme Font & Size Changer
For the folks that have posted in this thread a workaround, from the technical stuff listed to do, which is way over my head, I assume that is for PC users because I'm not familiar with .xpi extensions on a Mac.

It should be the same no matter which OS your PC runs.Curland wrote:For the folks that have posted in this thread a workaround, from the technical stuff listed to do, which is way over my head, I assume that is for PC users because I'm not familiar with .xpi extensions on a Mac.

(Just to note, joeg had updated the FF Theme Font & Size Changer extension for FF57+ thread, also pointing to David Ross's page.)
