Mail Display in Tray?

Post by Terry/WB4FXD »

TB 52.5.2 win 7 pro
Is there a way to have the TB logo in the desktop tray indicate new mail has arrived? I think Eudora had it and it saved me from checking every 30 minutes or so for important I needed. Maybe change color or brightness maybe?

Thanks

Windows itself should display an envelope icon at the bottom right of the task bar to indicate emails have been received. https://www.msoutlook.info/question/398

Also take a look at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... rt/?src=ss . It lets you "specify, for each separate mail folder, a message, sound and/or a system command that will be executed when new mail is found there. This way, you specify different actions for less important folders, or no action at all." There is also https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... rt/?src=ss which lets you add a blinking alert and disable auto-hiding of the built-in new mail alert feature.

Thank you, sir. I apologize for jumping the gun with the query. Yes, I see the envelope to the right, but forgot it was there and thanks up on blinking alert and disable auto-hiding of the built-in new mail alert feature.

Cheers -- T
