default bookmarks folder on FF58???

Duh? It looks to me that in Firefox 58, the default folder for bookmarks is suddenly "Other Bookmarks". Whaaaaat? It used to be "Bookmarks Menu". That's what I want. How do I change the default back?

The default was always unsorted bookmarks (now called other bookmarks) if you clicked on the bookmark star. Confusingly, if you typed ctrl-D to bookmark the default used to be bookmarks menu. Now it is other bookmarks. After you press ctrl-D you can press tab to move to the field where the folder is set and press the up arrow to change it to bookmarks menu. Another way to make a bookmark is to drag the favicon for a website into either the bookmarks menu or the bookmarks sidebar to place it where you desire. Thanks. There is no question that I can put the bookmark where I want to put it, the question was how to set that as a default. I am aware of bookmark default extensions. Do these work under Quantum?

Yes.
The "Default Bookmark Folder" extension, as posted by "allande", ^^, works with v56 & up.
