Jumpbox selection fails but go button reloads.
Looked at the element no idea what it is.
Tried without hardware acceleration and checked site preferences.
Can't seem to find JavaScript controls.
Drop down list at the bottom of a forum or thread page seems to be stuck or non-functional.
Tried preferences and also checked for site preferences along with a close and a restart.
Also getting too many constant and continuous hits from 172.217.8.4; 172.217.8.10 on 80 and 443
Plus a number of unidentified Cloudflare and Akamai hits.

Re: Forced to go back to the Index page.
The "Jump to" function is working for me. Have you tried closing all mozillazine pages, clearing your mz cookies and your cache, logging back in and trying it? Safe mode? New profile?
Those IPs are for Google, right?

Re: Forced back to the Index page, dead jumpbox
@smith - reloaded, restarted and closed Firefox with a new login - still dead.
Although the 172 ips are ID'd as Google they are also noted for hackers according to tcpiputils.
The Cloudflare IPs seem to be performing some thing, 104.27.147.83 plus several others, bl;ockl one and another shows up.
It was after blocking them the change took place. They've been un-blocked and restart and reloads seem to have no affect.
Jumpbox still dead.
There's also a couple of Fastly IPs which won't go away 151.101.200.133, 151.101.201.147, 151.101.208.133

What about in a new profile? Used to be a setting to block redirects that I am guessing you probably enabled.

Re: Dead jumpbox (Solved)
The fix was fairly easy - New Profile suggested by smsmith.
Reality of why, how and who:
The system and version of Firefox, though recently updated hadn't been cleaned under /edit/permission/Warn you when websites try to install add-ons/Exceptions.
Found the add-ons page and also a testpilot link. These are usually deleted but missed it on this system.
The who is whatever developer felt they have a right to push an issue butt was too stupid to keep from breaking something.
