Can't download podcast

Can anyone download these? I click download button, and do other tricks right click, but all zero bytes. Before on site had success

Same here on latest Nightly, and... IE11 'zero bytes'... Chrome also showing 'zero bytes'.. looks like a site issue I would guess.

EDIT: Add Edge to the list - zero byte file there as well.

Thank V. seriously? I thought for sure something on my end. Sam is Gold Standard of Podcast: His site is screwed up? Can't get normal download from it? Or is it FF?

The file (mp3) is not hosted on samharris.
The link to the file is not a direct link, but a redirect to libsyn.com.

Not sure offhand why their download button doesn't work?

But you can still get the clip, so long as you have the libsyn.com URL.
Various ways...
On the download "button", you can right click, Copy Link Location.

That gives you something like:

https:// samharris.org/wp-content/themes/samharris/resources/download.php?fileurl=//traffic.libsyn.com/wakingup/Waking_Up_115_Krauss_Dillahunty.mp3

Remove everything up through the = & replace it with http:.

http:// traffic.libsyn.com/wakingup/Waking_Up_115_Krauss_Dillahunty.mp3

Paste that URL into your browser (which then "redirects", again) & should open a player, allowing you to download the clip (by right-click, Save (Audio) As...

It does seem to be a site problem.

If you're seeing links such as "Waking_Up_115_Krauss_Dillahunty.mp3 (audio/mpeg, 91.7 MB)" you should be able to do the Mac equivalent of right-click, Save Link As....

http://wakingup.libsyn.com/podcast has functional download buttons. The button icon is a down arrow pointing into a square.

BTW after download itunes launched, which I don't like, how does one prevent that from happening, if you know?
