Daily Build Thread 2019-01-01+ (after Dawn)I have noticed with Daily build of today 60.a1 (2018-02-04), if you use the 'Add-on' menu from the top right global menu:
(Open Menu) -> Add-ons -> Add-ons It hangs, it goes somewhere into modal mode and the only way, that I found to get out of it, is to kill the process. Does this happen to anybody else ?
Does the sub-menu with a list of extensions appear, or show "No add-on settings found"? It could be bug 1428082 Thunderbird Daily becomes unresponsive when Add-ons Manager opens after bug 1427407 landed which I filed, but the developers couldn't reproduce, so I Resolved Invalid. Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630
Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5
It displays my extensions, it just does not let me click on anything, even closing the window. To get to the add-on window, I can also do: ALT (key), from the menu bar: Tools->Add-ons And that work fine. I have also tried it from different machine (Laptop running win10) and same behaviour: Open Menu -> Add-ons -> Add-ons The add-ons window come up with the spinner still running and you cannot close Daily other than kill it through task-manager. I have not tried with older build so I do not know how long it has been there. That is the same behavior I see and reported in the bug. I first discovered using Daily 59.0a1 after bug 1427407 landed.
Could you add a comment to the bug report for bug 1428082? Thanks! Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630
Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5 Just an update. I dunno when I'll get the chance to update beta link in first post. So if rsx wants to do it or wait till im back with a working pc.
I should be back on tomorrow so I'll update the thread beta link then I just found that I cannot do 'View Source' any more on the nightly build. Can somebody check if 'View Source' still works for them ?

Do you know a secret? For there to be a "next ESR" there has to a new release? ![]()
67. This current ESR went to 60 instead of 59 because Firefox needed more time to complete a GPO feature. Thunderbird of course followed suit.
ok thanks My Thunderbird 'Release' updated to 52.7.0 this Saturday morning. March 24, 2018.
This was a surprise. I do not know if there was an official and I have not see and public announcement.
52.7.0 Release Notes Where would you be looking for an official public announcement? Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630

There used to be several places. The "Releases Scheduling" page was usually wrong, schedules not met, and I have not been able to find it lately. I use as a reference that one, sometimes two, weeks after a Firefox release update there might be a Thunderbird release. Do you happen to know of a 'place'?
