Hi!
I used to be able to add a button to the toolbar that toggled the Developer Tools, but I can't seem to figure out how anymore.
Thanks for any help!

Right click the toolbar, choose Customize.
In the panel on the left in the tab that opens, find the wrench icon. That's the only stock developer toolbar button I know of, but it just brings up the menu, it doesn't toggle the tools on or off.

The only problem is that the developer button isnt showing in the list over buttons, as seen here:

You already have it on your toolbar just to the right of the forward button and to the left of the reload button.
