When I go to do a search on youtube it just randomly refreshes and takes me back to the main page
and I still have problems when opening the firefox it takes for ever to open I do a refresh and it works fine for a day and starts acting up again I did a fresh install same results and checked the plugins the problem is in the browser itself iam running version 52.6.0 32bit ![]() Moving to Firefox Support.
If the browser works properly when first installed but fails later, it's fairly clear that the problem is not with the program but with the profile created when the program is installed. What security software are you running on that system? Well When I do a refresh and install the old files from back up it works ok for a day or 2 and then it starts acting up, if it was in the profile would it not start acting up immediately ?
![]() Not if the problem result is in the profile but the cause is actually some security or cleanup program that distorts the profile after some use.
Are there any known clean up programs that will cause this as I use several?
CCleaner is notorious for messing up Firefox, its well known around here to causes corruptions. DO NOT LET it anywhere near Firefox. ![]() Firefox (and Thunderbird) does a perfectly adequate job of cleaning up after themselves so there is no need for risky cleanup programs.
