Re: Still having problems
Moving to Firefox Support.
If the browser works properly when first installed but fails later, it's fairly clear that the problem is not with the program but with the profile created when the program is installed.
What security software are you running on that system?

Well When I do a refresh and install the old files from back up it works ok for a day or 2 and then it starts acting up, if it was in the profile would it not start acting up immediately ?

Re: Still having problems
Not if the problem result is in the profile but the cause is actually some security or cleanup program that distorts the profile after some use.

Re: Still having problems
Are there any known clean up programs that will cause this as I use several?

Re: Still having problems
Firefox (and Thunderbird) does a perfectly adequate job of cleaning up after themselves so there is no need for risky cleanup programs.

Review the file attributes using Windows Explorer.
