Post by fits79 »

Hi.

I want to know if there is any new addon to do the exact same thing this addon do.
https://addons.mozilla.org/el/firefox/a ... -exporter/
Simply i want to know if there is any addon i can extract stored password at firefox 57+.

And is there any other addon to place all the tabs down?

There's no extension for that but see this site -- http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/passwordfox.html

What do you mean by

When i say down i mean down of the windows NOT down of the menu.
This thing it do it the tab mix plus at the old versions of firefox.

And i don't want to simply see at a text file the firefox stored passwords.
I only want a method i can backup/restore the stored passwords at firefox 57+

See if this extension would be useful -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -reloaded/

For now you are out of luck in regard to the password backup. The solution is to backup the entire profile or the files involved in storing the passwords.

Are you talking about having the tabs at the bottom of the Firefox window?

Because for now there doesn't seem to be any extension comparable to Password Exporter. It's not known if that will change in the future as it may require the developers to introduce new elements to the core program code that would be considered to insecure.

Moving to Firefox Support.

I don't see any extensions to provide that option. If it is possible to move the tabs to the bottom using CSS, someone may be able to identify the necessary code but I can't offer any guidance on that.

Do you mean like this:

See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1189624

(Note: my version lifts #TabsToolbar by 26px from the bottom to accommodate the status panel)

As you can see, it works for me. The only other thing I have is !important on each of the css lines.

I am also using classic_squared_tabs.css from Aris but I don't believe that's going to make any difference.
