I can't sign into my PNC bank online banking with Seamonkey 2.49.1. The Sign On button is greyed out. Works with other browsers, IE 11, Edge. Javascript problem? I used to be able to sign in okay. Not sure when this changed. I think you can use a fake userid and password just to see if the Sign On button is active for you. Instead, use a site specific override.
In this case, that would be - Enter about:config in addressbar > right click any entry and select > New > String > Enter general.useragent.override.onlinebanking.pnc.com as the name and whatever you like as the value, like - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Metal Lion SeaMonkey Themes - Sea Monkey and Silver Sea Monkey

First of all manually update SeaMonkey to version 2.49.2: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/2.49.2 IMHO it changed when Mozilla released Firefox 58. Some (if not "most") websites ignore existence of Firefox 52 ESR (SeaMonkey 2.49.x is based on this version). The same is on Oracle site: https://java.com/en/download/installed8.jsp When Firefox compatibility is enabled in SeaMonkey and website "detects old Firefox" then user can see some information about "obsolete browser". You can make workaround like Frank Lion described above. I was forced to do similar things for some sites prepared by lazy web "masters". If it works and if you are customer of PNC Bank then write to them and inform about problem "on their side". Try typing a space after your username or password, it doesn't matter which one, then press the Backspace key.
That's what I have to do to enable the Login button in Firefox Nightly. Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630
Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5 General override to 58.0 worked. I'll try the other suggestions now and see which ones work for me. Many thanks to all.
Edit: Site specific (pnc.com) works great too. Rich
