Tab Mix Plus
Key Config
Menu Wizard
Toolbar Buttons (added many buttons to the Customize options)

There were similar extensions for the last three - I used these because they worked well enough, but I imagine others would have done the job. However there was nothing similar to Tab Mix Plus.

I have replicated around 25% of the Tab Mix Plus and Toolbar Button features, fortunately most of the important ones. 10 of my 17 currently installed extensions replicate 25% of 2 old extensions. I can reconfigure keys with AutoHotkey or Macro Express if I have to but I'd like to be able to edit the context menus.

I sure hope the extra security of FF57+ is worth the loss of features and the inefficiency of customization.

Same here. All the extensions I used before are now web extensions.
Why does that not surprise me.

In my experience, they'll either vanish or admit that they use almost none or already know that 'their ones' will be converted to WebExtensions. MENU EDIT is what I miss most
that wont surprise me - not in special for Suze, in general. firefox context menu up to v56 was overloaded - since quantum i consider it as small (less filled as in v56). i am running ~40 extensions and my context menu is not that blown as in firefox 54. the context menu for tabs is larger than for pages, curiosity. most entries for tab were set by TMP, now its firefox. ofc i would reduce it - currently it can only be down with userchrome.css but its more time for me to investigate than ignoring.
i can understand the request for menu edit WE but i can not understand that heavy whining, in special as Suze already using css - why dont investigate into another css to reduce the menu?

What do you mean by gestures? Mouse gestures? Mouse gestures have never been a Firefox feature without an extension. I use this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -gestures/

I miss the old NoScript. This new version is an exercise in... how NOT to do things.

Actually the one I miss the most disappeared with the advent of Australis, and that was FoxE9 (which allowed Firefox to take on the look of Internet Explorer 9. Very Slick!)

These I miss but can get by without them.

TabMix plus - miss the ability to reload a closed tab.
Cookie Monster - miss the ability to easily control cookies on a site-by-site basis
Download Window - would always pop up when downloading something so I could easily keep a check on progress.

I have replicated some of what Classic Theme Restorer did with a custom user.chrome file.

So I suppose it's all a bit of a compromise with this new Quantum Firefox - don't think I will ever be truly happy with it as I was with the old one.

With Quantum, I just wish there was a WebExtension to load a progress bar at the bottom for page loading.
