that article - as most others - are valid for quantum. but deleting with ctrl+shift+del or settings when shut down firefox is still the same.

if that wont work for you your profile is possible damaged.

Dan, your link does not alter what I saw before writing my post--and it does indicate history includes cookies, in Mozilla's view. Brummelchen, I don't understand your question [you probably were in a hurry], but the keyboard shortcut is all I need, and I thank you for that tip.
