Auto Zip

Post by ep2012 »

Hi all,

How are you all doing?

So there used to be an add-on that would zip your files once you added them to an e-mail, but it was causing issues & has long since been gone.

Did anything come out to replace it?

I really need it sometimes.

Thanks

A 20 second search on the AMO site turned up this one -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... src=search

That doesn't work, it hasn't been updated in ages.

I don't know what an AMO site either.

The extension was updated in September of last year and purports to be compatible with versions through 57. What Thunderbird version are you running?

The AMO site is the one that link took you to.

So why does it talk about 3.0a1? https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image ... 72f6b832f0

And I guess I saw a user in 2016 that said it doesn't work with his version, but then the developer said to try again (I just read that), but I still don't understand why it's talking about such an OLD TB version. :(

Thanks

It's the lower end of a range. The author claims the extension will work with TB versions from 3.x to 57 at the upper end of the range.
