Thunderbird Theme Font Size Changer
It seems that this extension has expired today. Everything is tiny on the folder panel. Virtually unreadable!

The layout of T/Bird is very similar in its profile to that of Firefox.

Alter the font size to anything you like. Usually you would alter the message font in the Options/Preferences settings, but you could also just put that code in the userContent.css file, as well as the userChrome.css and it would change that for you.
You will then never need to use/depend on that extension ever again.

Re: Thunderbird Theme Font Size Changer
Anybody ever tried going into the Config Editor and changing?
Edit: That makes the Window too big when maximized and pushes the Today Pane off screen with a value of 1.0.
Code: Select all

Is there any hope that someone, somewhere can re-establish Theme and Font Changer... or something like it? I'll need a new eyeglass prescription to view the folder pane etc....and I'm sure I'm not the only one!

We know how frustrating things can make you.
Why not try Frank's suggestion?
&, Would you please not post to all the similar threads, as it makes it difficult to follow.

Theme and Font Size changer does not work on Thunderbird v 52
Crashes it.
Error reports sent but nothing has changed.
Uninstalled and will not reinstall unless it is shown to be fully compatible.
Don't want to risk causing problems with Thunderbird with a dodgy extension

Error reports are not for direct, individual responses. They are collected only for statistical purposes, to help identify areas to be worked on.Error reports sent but nothing has changed.
And I'm not seeing any problems using that extension with TB 52.6.0. Perhaps it's a conflict with another installed extension.

Re: Thunderbird Theme Font Size Changer
I don’t have any other extensions installed on Thunderbird. Theme & Font size changer was the only one. Yes it installs and it appears on the toolbar but you cannot open it to make any adjustments as you used to be able to do, it crashes Thunderbird when you try. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version but still no luck. It does not work.

Nope, not seeing that. The controls are accessible under the Tools menu.

Yes, Thunderbird's Tools menu. Menu path Tools->Theme Font & Size Changer, to be precise.

Re: Thunderbird Theme Font Size Changer
Mmm am sure I used to adjust it through Theme and Font Size changer itself. Will check later today when I wind up the PC.
As a point of interest, when checking the downloads section for this App, both versions have a No Entry sign by the Download button and there is a warning message above the two download options “Be careful with older versions! These versions are displayed for reference and testing purposes. You should always use the latest version of an Add On”
I had assumed that this was the reason clicking Theme and Font Size changer crashed Thunderbird.

Whichever way I try to launch Theme and Font Size Changer, whether via Thunderbird's Tools Menu, or clicking its button on the main window I get the same result.
