Hi,
I'm not sure whether to post here or in the Extensions section (which deems more like for released extension support.
Does anyone know if there ar: any similar replacements to:
nURL Suffix
Paste Email (Original)
PlacesCleaner
SaveFileTo
Chuck Baker posted that he was working on Paste Email replacement a couple of months ago but there is nothing yet. I know TMP is being worked on and I have the dev version but it is nowhere near the old version yet.
I have a horrible memory leak and I want to freshen things up, but am waiting until I can upgrade the last PC to Quantum

nURL Suffix - nothing yet
Paste Email - any copy&paste as you like, eg clippings (paste mail is also only a simple paste tool)
PlacesCleaner - just a stupid extension without any benefit, futile since firefox 3 because firefox vacucum and trimm its files alone. any other is trashing your database.
SaveFileTo - no longer possible http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3039854
TMP has gone futile from my view, i replaced it very early.
go search here for the desired function

Paste Email may be a simple pasting tool, but it allows you to paste predefined text rather than having to copy it first. My wife really likes it for pasting names, addresses and e-mail addresses into forms.
I didn't know that about cleaning places.
Pity about SaveFileTo
re the memory leak I only have about 8-10 pages open all day for work. By the end of the day I'm using over 4GB memory and lagging badly. I'd like to try to narrow it down, starting by getting rid of legacy extensions which means updating the last PC. That means negotiating with my wife.

For PlacesCleaner, go to about:support, search for Places, and click on Verify Integrity.
