But: It's never ending...
This "guilty" Addon must not be guilty alone!
It's one under a few.
It could be troubled by others.
Probably there are negative interferences between 2 or more extensions.
Would i have shut off another addon with similar success, then that addon had to be the delinquent.
So it would be fair to search for possibly other concerning addons, not to blame it all on one.
To do so i have to activate the yet guilty addon with known negative effects and click through my others.
I will see.
By many Extensions you can expect interactions and negative ones are never excluded.

Re: Firefox high CPU usage: How to find out which addon is g
thats a fact caused bei your refusal to fullfill the given solutions.
you have all, now do as expected with out any further questions and discussions please because this would lead again to nowhere.
same for camp firefox - dont do it, not there.
#edit - you did it again. i suggest no longer to ask - you do your things and we ours. good luck.

Are you trying to solve a computer software problem or trying to write a parody of a speech from Shakespeare's Henry V?Clemens.Ratte-Polle wrote:But: It's never ending...

You've seen how other people ask for help here, just do the same. No one has time for this 'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times' nonsense here.
What is the problem you have?

No, it's not stalking. It's asking that you accept the recommendations and procedures offered by those who have both used those procedures themselves and have offered them to others who have used them with satisfactory results.

it has benefits to query several forums - either to find solutions and also in this case to understand its general attitude concerning given help. Boersenfeger and Fox2Fox (both very experienced users) had quit thread because all is written, they can not help you further and consider it as a waste of time to rephrase all. same for me here, good luck.
PS if they would have had knowledge of this thread here they thread in camp would be much shorter, not only because solutions where given twice.

Heh, funny.
Install that extension & immediately FF eats CPU.
Good job in vetting, Mozilla.
AMO shows "4" reviews, yet only 2 actually show up (& 1 of them being Clemens) & 699 "users".
And DownThemAll, before its, err, Mozilla's demise, showed (a measly) 656,000 users.
Good job, Mozilla.
Wonder if it's just poor programing, a bug, in their code, a bug in Mozilla's code, or something like a miner in there?
One of their other extensions, https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/a ... cookies-1/.

So, are we take that name lightly ?

Connect websites you visit to yaunel.com an send JSON files
This is an awful scam.

be careful about names:
original: Self-Destructing Cookies
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/self-destructing-cookies/
web-ex: Self-Destructing Cookies (WebEx)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/self-destructing-cookies-webex/
fake: Self Destroying Cookies
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/self-destructing-cookies-1/
the code is strange, functions to encrypt strings. comments in different languages.
