My last remaining desktop died in more ways than one. RIP to my P2.
Issue: I did not have the chance to copy all the open tabs in Firefox from it. It was running the latest version.
I got my connectors to access the files of the drive externally. Is there anyway I can access what the current open tabs are?
There is no way I am going to get that drive to boot again and that was my only desktop.
Thank you.

From in your Profile folder, sessionstore.js (or .json or .jsonlz4) whatever might be there, copy from old to new (with FF closed).
Depending on your settings, you may need to manually open your prior session.
Also (don't recall if FF 52 has it), if there is a /sessionstore-backups/ copy that too (but don't necessarily put it into the new Profile).
(Actually can't hurt to have a copy your entire Profile folder...)

Okay, on the drive that had FF5X (the newest FF), the only thing to match "sessionstore" is a folder and here are its contents:
G:\Users\5400T\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\dhqht45w.default\sessionstore-backups\
previous.jsonlz4
recovery.baklz4
recovery.jsonlz4
upgrade.jsonlz4-20180323154952
upgrade.jsonlz4-20180427210249
upgrade.jsonlz4-20180516032328
On my last remaining unit, running FF 52.8.1 ESR, I have matching "sessionstore":
C:\Users\main\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ld9uw3h1.default\sessionstore-backups\
previous.js
recovery.bak
recovery.js
upgrade.js-20180427222832
upgrade.js-20180430140610
upgrade.js-20180605153619
But when Firefox is closed, then I get:
C:\Users\main\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ld9uw3h1.default\sessionstore.js

Re: Recovering Webpages from a Drive
(In FF) sessionstore.js only exists when FF is closed.
upgrade.* are dated, most recent being a month old, 2018-06-05 (depending on which Profile you're dealing with).
previous & recovery.*, oh, I don't recall offhand - but I think there is a KB article in these parts... ?
So without knowing, offhand, I'd experiment.
Something like...
(backup first, &/or work in a separate Profile for this)
make sure that sessionstore.js & /sessionstore-backups/ are empty
take most recent of previous.js/recovery.*, renaming that file to sessionstore.js
copy that file into your FF Profile folder
start FF
see if your session is there or can be restored (History | Restore Previous Session)

If Firefox did not shut down normally, then recovery.jsonlz4 could be most up-to-date, since it is the "live" session history file. You can use this tool on my website to view file contents: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/res/scrounger.html

Re: Recovering Webpages from a Drive
therube, thanks. I was about to start all that and then jscher2000 posted his handy utility. Was just as quick and fast without switch profiles or files around.
Thank you!!
