Video rendering costs is still a bit high.

Hmm... You are right. CPU usage on VP9 1080p Youtube is 30% higher AND uses 30% of my GPU (old 5750) whereas VP9 doesn't use any without Webrender. The plus side is, with Webrender it actually loads faster and starts playing the video faster even if it's only slightly.

I figure I post this since I have this problem, don't know if anyone posted this before:

Firefox Private Mode is broken right now with addons in the sense you can't browse anything what so ever. This has to do with changes to extension-related code. See bug #1465537.

You can avoid this problem by turning the pref "extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup" to false.

I'm also running WebRender on my Windows devices for about three months now and it's mostly working really well now.

Anybody seeing a bug upon hovering left/right scroll arrows on the tab bar? https://i.imgur.com/jlTgvXE.png. The two borders are almost completely white and stand out too much.

Looks like they have a solution with DirectComposition through DX11. I think it would probably solve their h.264 3x rendering issue.
