SPDY & ALTSVC question? Some Clarity?

In trying to understand the use of these items in about:config in Firefox.
I did some searching but do not seem to be able to come up with a good direction.
What they are and how they are applied in Firefox appears to be counter to what some browsers have applied and in some cases the use is no longer supported in others BUT . . . this may not be current as the latest info I found was in February 2018.
I'm trying to figure out if, as suggested in some links, both here in a Support search and through Google and Wikipedia, if setting to false is going to stop some of the load and directional issues?

Any kind of explanation would be appreciated?

SPDY, it says is deprecated.
I didn't realize that.
And HTTP/2 is its replacement.

And even though HTTP/2 looks to be RFC, I suppose, as with any change, it takes time to actually get implemented, fully, or enough.

So for the time being, you have HTTP, (& SPDY), & HTTP/2.
And I'd expect the browser/server to negotiate the highest protocol that all can handle.

So leave everything related at their defaults - as the engineers deemed correct, for now - unless you know better .

As to altsvc : In about:config: network.http.altsvc.enabled and network.http.altsvc.oe - both boolean Tor F.

A server uses "Alt-Svc" header (meaning Alternative Services) to indicate that its resources can also be accessed at a different network location (host or port) or using a different protocol
When using HTTP/2, servers should instead send an ALTSVC frame. [40]

I'm looking for useless server connections which don't aply in or out anymore.
Came across this and it tweeked my curiosity as to why these things are enabled by default?

The confusion as to continuing allowing or dumping is what seems the out of reach definitive.
A couple of other browsers leave it disabled as default but I'm wondering how much of this is connected to the dumping of http sites.

Found this which defines http/2 a bit better. http2 under the hood helps explain the problems with http security changes after the Firefox updates.
