WebExtensions does not work on latest Nightly62.0a1(20180606100133).
See #1467136 [Toolkit:WebExtensions: General]-Some extensions don't load on startup [Uns]
Wow that's an annoying bug, good thing I can just set extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup to false but I have a feeling I'll forget to turn back on once it's fixed.

I had to do this because bitwarden isn't working correctly.

Does this affect all extensions or am I confused? I have Privacy Badger, Ublock Origin, and Gecko profiler and they all seem to work as intended.

Ublock Origin is dead for me. I had to fallback to ABP.

uBlock0, uMatrix and a number of extensions did not work. So, I replaced the entire Firefox Nightly build folder, with the earlier 20180606 (and 20180605 later), the extensions not only remained inaccessible, but have gotten worse. I think that my nightly profile got hosed after updating to the latest nightly (2018-06-06-22-01-31-mozilla-central). Right now, I partly rebuilt my nightly profile from bits and pieces here and there for 20180605 x64 build.

May need to try a new profile with fresh extension installation.

Yeah, same thing just happened to me, after Nightly updated, just went to my Developer Edition profile, which is on the beta channel. So will I have to fix my whole profile, or can I wait until a fix comes to make the extensions work?

Looks like they might be fixing what caused Extensions like Ublock to start functioning late (though I could be wrong), but it's incomplete.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1467136
Ah, the patch for bug 1369841 is incomplete, we don't clear primed listeners if the background page starts through a method other than messaging. I should be able to have a patch ready today.

In the mean time, anybody affected by this should be able to work it this by setting extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup to false.
Edit: though Reddit Enhancement Suite appeared to break in the middle of browsing just now.

That definitely helped! It was odd seeing uBlock Origin broken and some websites taking ten times longer to load than usual (probably from the advertising junk that they drag in).

Hmm... Even after setting "extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup" to false, doing an update causes the extensions to not load at all, restarting again fixes it.

EDIT: Nope, latest update broke Webextensions even with extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup set to false.

My extensions seem to be working again today, can anyone else confirm as well?

I can confirm this, issue looks fixed, starting in Mozilla Firefox Nightly 62.0a1 (2018-06-07).

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

I don't have problems with UBO now, but RES is failing. Build 20180607100059
For example, load https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/commen ... en_res_is/
I don't see "Subscribe" button, no "Live preview" for comment editor.
Go to about:addons and disable -> enable RES
All is back and working
Refresh page - > broken again.

Edit:

Correction - sometimes is working on first load.
Another extension with problems is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... link-text/
