Search type control

Post by walkerpbus »

When I search my posts, is it too much work to be able to classify whether I want to specify & limit Firefox, Thunderbird, whether closed (unsubscribed) or not? etc. in my search? I know you guys/gals are volunteer but I'm 86 & type/select slow (in my high school typing was manual typewriters only besides never took typing & now I''m missing a finger becasue of a dumb accident (my error!)
Win 10 Pro desktop, but now 64-bit latest Windows 10. Usually latest or latest-1 Thunderbird on this machines.

How are you doing the search? If you use the "Boards (Advanced)" field in the right hand column, you can specify which forum to search and also enter your user ID in the "Search by author" field to limit the search to your own posts.
